Homebrew Should i hook up my Wii again or just for nostalgia

I grew up with my Nintendo Wii and love it to this day but it has its downsides.... its old and I think mine is 7 and I'm paranoid that it will burn out like my cousins n64 did when they were my age. Also, the homebrew scene is dead if not pretty damn close to being dead. another lesser thing but still a slight bug is the standard definition display. now don't get me wrong here some games really mastered the ways ATI Radeon graphics and I would love to see that in HD. not saying that some janky upscale setup would fix that but you know. what do you guys think I should do I'm torn right now please if you could answer some of my concerns above that would be great.

Play the games in Dolphin in glorious 1080p

Especially if you load games via USB or something.

So what? You want to keep it so it can collect dust? Use it. It's extremely fun, especially with Wimmfi. It's like going back in time to times where the Wii was alive.
The scene is dead because we already have achieved everything we need on the latest firmware

I agree. You could use it for Gamecube games and other retro games

usbloadergx is a great tool for that
