Since I never created a NNID before and have a 8.1 JPN N3DS, I believe I'm screwed?
As:
- when I try to set up a NNID on 8.1 sysnand it asks me to perform a system update which I obviously cannot do.
- If I understand correctly a NNID cannot be created on emunand, either.
So what are my options, if any?
Please tell me i'm wrong, temp.

ooh great!
Thanks for your answers guys. So I'll just set up the NNID on emunand.
Now do you recommend I set it up before or after I unlink sysnand and emunand..?

No PC/smart phone/notebook/tablet?

Surely there's better ways to get your youtube fix. Unless you live in a third world country. In which case, my apologies.
3D Youtube content... you should check it out... unless you're not capable of watching 3D. In which case, my apologies.

Would there some trouble/mismatch if I do it before..?

No, I don't think there will be. But, some users had told that they were having problems without unlinking the Nands, so they had to do all the steps again. So, that's why you should do that after unlinking them. :)

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
