Well, in the compatibility thread someone called Peter8 had a disagreement and then expressed something negative about this place.

Up to that point there were regular updates. Since that date there has not been any updates on github.

I assumed he may have had something to do with the development of Seta GX due to noticing the above. However I could be totally wrong.

That is why.

Peter8 did a good job of saying games that can be played !

For updates, I can see, at the begining to the ending of July 2024, then March 2025, and twice in April 2025. Between July and March there was time and many works. For the twice updates in July, the creator said those are small releases and add wiimote (I'm really happy to see this add).
In issues post, some are noted as enhancement for a futur update ^^.
So don't worry ^^.

Even though we're all eager for a new update of this great emulator, it takes time to do things well... Overmore, fadedled is busy with his life... so we have to be patient.
