ROM Hack Send PKM files to retail games

no it didn't work in safe mode with net.

This is what I did:

Run Server DSN and get the IP (says 0.0.0.0:53)
Place that in the WIFi settings
Chagne my router to WEP (I left the pass key on, but I tried before and with it gone didnt work)
Drop PKM file onto sendPKM and wait until it says waiting for connextion

then to GTS and try but it just says unable to connect

Check the troubleshooting guide on the first page and try steps until it works basically, specifically the antivirus uninstallation.

well I tired on a different computer this time it lasted alot longer till telling my 52100 error, I dont know what else to change.

Also it says python 2.6, but 2.6 wont let me drop the pkm file onto the send pkm.py thing, I have to use 2.6.5, could that be the problem?

I use a Nintendo DS and Pokemon Diamond and here is my problem.

When i connect to the GTS and it says checking GTS status i get a communication error and it sends me back to title page after i press A.

Now here is what i did.

Downloaded Python 2.7(2.6 isnt avaible anymore and doesnt work)
Downloaded Pokesav
Downloaded Sendpkm and unzipped the files using Winrar
Downloaded DNS Server
Created a Lugia using pokesav and saved it

Dragged Lugia onto sendpkm and got 192.168.1.4
Dragged sendpkm onto DNS server and typed in 192.168.1.4 for my code and pressed enter.
Changed my DNS server on my wifi settings on nintendo ds to 192.168.1.4
Left the Python page and DNS server page open while i connected to GTS
While it said checking GTS status i got a blue screen with a white box that said "Communication Error. Press A to go back to Main Menu."
Can anyone help me?

Are you sure your lugia.pkm file is exactly 236byte?

I also got this communication error, and it was because my pkm file was not 236 byte/corrupted

I finally got it to work, I updated python to 2.7 and just as I drop the PKM file onto the send pkm.py I hit yes on the DS to connect and it worked, tested three times each time working.

Are you sure your lugia.pkm file is exactly 236byte?

Yes it is 236 byte exactly, how do i check if its corrupted?

Download one from the net and see if that one works. If so, yours is corrupt somehow and you're best off modifying the downloaded one to suit your needs instead of recreating another.

Remember, you need to modify them from the pokemon party list, not the box list...

If not, check more troubleshooting steps.

Thank you for your answer Sinbad. I would like to know how i can get a up to date legality checker. The one i just use is legit.exe and the new Pokes like World10Crobat, Crown dogs and Eigakan Celebi are Unown/not in the DB. I dont know where i can get a new version or should i better use another Program?

Those events just came out, you need to wait for the guy that made the checker to update it.

Likely it's somebody that really doesn't give enough of a fuck to update it every single time a new event happens (which is quite often since they track every country's events!)

Currently no. You'll need another DS in order to trade it to a flash cart, then you can use the save editor to get the PKM out of it.

Hi, im looking for the .pkm file of 2004 event wish chansey.I tried to hack it by myself but, when i use legal.exe i get invalid trash bytes.

I couldn't find this event. Can someone give me the example files for it? "chansey with wish and sweet scent level 5"
