Hello all.

I'm not sure if this is necessary, but I have two old 3DS, one which is 9.2U and one which is 8.1J, both of which had Gateway emunands. Do I need to do anything to remove Gateway, so that the systems go back to their normal, unmodified state?

After that, is there any recommended actions to take with the systems?

Thanks for all replies.

emunand was stored on the sdcard not the device, just remove sdcard and it will be fine. can update firmware if you wish.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Follow-up question, do I need to do anything special to the memory card, or can I just format and go?

Just format the SD card, if you want to completely remove any trace of gateway also format system nand to remove the gateway exploit that will remove any trace it was ever installed
