Well...found out it's the emu....I've downloaded the Windows version of Yabause, and it has the same problem...
If you try to launch cue+iso+mp3 the games doesn't start....if you try mounting the image on a virtual drive (changing mp3 to wav), the game starts....

So basically it's all in the early stages and it's not ready to be played on the Wii!!

I didn't know that the Saturn had this game, I would like to play it, I seen this once in an arcade years ago tho.

This emulator will take a while to be in the works as in working.

I still have my SSF on my pc....and it works like a charm..........
Well....a porting of the SSF on Wii with SD/USB access could be a (wet) dream come true....

sadly, SSF is not open source and is probably not very portable (that means mostly written is X86 ASM)

Ok check it out.

http://www.coderetard.com/2008/06/30/genes...r-nintendo-wii/

Features:

* accurate & full speed Sega Genesis emulation
* Stereo Sound (@48 kHz)
* PAL Megadrive (50Hz) timings support
* 1~4 Players support
* SDLOAD or IPL reboot
* SRAM autoload (optional)
* ROM Information Screen
* Zipped roms support
* Interleaved roms support (.smd)
* Load roms from SDCARD or DVD (4.7GB DVD support for Wii users)
* Load/Save SRAM and FreezeState files from/to Memory Card & SDCARD (compressed)
* Original NTSC & PAL progressive rendering modes (240p/288p) support

I really like the fact that you can load the roms from a dvd. I just got done downloading a torrent that had over 8,000 some games on it. I am going to test this thing out today. Will let you know of the results.

FYI My wii is hacked by Twilight, not a chip.
