But you could also replace it with the backmenu and mod the Wii's main menu. You wouldn't need to press A and you still have the WOW effect.

Pressing a is not a problem for me, and doesnt exactly speed up the wii booting time. A custom image would look a lot better. And what wii main menu mod? Not heard of one of those, and making one will be a lot harder and more dangerous than this.

When we have a main menu mod, then i will ofcourse try and use it. As it stands, there is not and there is not much I can do about it. I would assume, as the main menu is bigger and has more graphics, there would be more things which could be messed up.
