It means you don't have an emunand, no problem, don't back it up now
(you will make one later in the guide to make installing 2.1 safer)

Ok, now I've got otp.bin, soft 9.2.0-20e and installed hombrew menu. The problem is now withpoint: Do Part 4 - 2.1.0 Downgrade (Section II - Injecting FBI Only)

2. Open Decrypt9 (This can sometimes take a few tries), then go to "EmuNAND Options", then "Miscellaneous...", then select the "Health & Safety Dump" option to dump Health & Safety to hs.app (you can use Up and Down / Left and Right to change the name).

There
is the same communicate: SD is not formated. How to create this EmuNand?

1.Backup all files in your SD Card.
2.Get EmuNAND9.
3.Click Complete EmuNAND Setup.
4.Press buttons when prompt.
5. Name it what you want.
6.Format EmuNAND.
7.Learn how to get Luma3DS.
8.PROFIT!!

Or just do it with your SysNAND.

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
