strange, If I go to the top level I can see SD and USB. No .ini editing was required. My usb is FAT32 and I'm using the latest vesion (currently 2.1.1).Dumb question, but how are you guys getting ScummVM to access games off the USB rather than the SD? I've installed version 2.1.1 and when I try to navigate in ScummVM to the USB, the top level only lists "SD://". I tried manually editing an .ini file in the apps/scummvm folder to list the directory as "usb://" but that didn't fix it.
No idea then. My HD is formatted as FAT32, works fine with USB Loader GX, WiiFlow, etc. Thought I must have missed something obvious. Something to do with the (C)IOS maybe?strange, If I go to the top level I can see SD and USB. No .ini editing was required. My usb is FAT32 and I'm using the latest vesion (currently 2.1.1).
On a side note, I was able to run Phantasmagoria (italian) with no issues. It says that it detected some corrupted files, but I haven't encountered any bug or crash so far. That game is huge (7 CDs) but actually it's only big in size.
Whaaaaaaat?? I can't believe this! and no plans for VII?Forgot to mention this before, but if anyone is interested enough and is a fan of the Ultima series, both VI and VIII work since months ago on the dev branch. Have not tested if they were included in the Wii port yet.
Turned out to be something very simple. I plugged my USB back into my computer to check if there was something amis and sure enough it was set to use GPT. Reformatted and set to MBR and problem solved. If it's working with the other apps and loaders, I doubt it can be a CIOS issue. I think I would try to re-start from scratch, deleting scummvm.ini and booting ScummVM from the HBC (but you'll have ro re-add your games).
Is your apps/scummvm on SD or USB? Or are you using it as a wiiflow plugin?
If it was on SD, what happens if you try to boot it from USB instead?
Never played those games, but i can imagine that being the case. The problem with Scummvm on Wii is that some types of games are not really playable with just the mouse. Games like the EOB saga, or Lands of Lore, used the cursor keys to walk or turn, you can do it with the mouse too, but you'll be slower and it will be nearly impossible to survive certain fights! (I'm thinking about the skeletons warriors in the Darkmoon's dungeons of EOB2).
It would be really wonderful to have a version with the arrow keys mapped to the D-pad . I don't know if it's even possible.
But it would do some real good service to those old dungeon crawlers.
I didn't knew. ThanksHey @Tetsuo Shima and @alexander1970 maybe you both already now but the 2.2.0 is out now

Does it give you a black screen when you try to quit scummvm? For me it happens with every single game.Tried Torin's Passage and Operation Stealth german versions. Both games work fine. I've never played them before .

I already reported it in the bug tracker, but I'm curious if this happens to other people too
Is that wiidatabase build exactly the same MD5 wise as the one available on the official website?Does it give you a black screen when you try to quit scummvm? For me it happens with every single game.
