Where i can find the scummvm mod 18?

Dumb question, but how are you guys getting ScummVM to access games off the USB rather than the SD? I've installed version 2.1.1 and when I try to navigate in ScummVM to the USB, the top level only lists "SD://". I tried manually editing an .ini file in the apps/scummvm folder to list the directory as "usb://" but that didn't fix it.

strange, If I go to the top level I can see SD and USB. No .ini editing was required. My usb is FAT32 and I'm using the latest vesion (currently 2.1.1).

On a side note, I was able to run Phantasmagoria (italian) with no issues. It says that it detected some corrupted files, but I haven't encountered any bug or crash so far. That game is huge (7 CDs) but actually it's only big in size.

No idea then. My HD is formatted as FAT32, works fine with USB Loader GX, WiiFlow, etc. Thought I must have missed something obvious. Something to do with the (C)IOS maybe?

If it's working with the other apps and loaders, I doubt it can be a CIOS issue. I think I would try to re-start from scratch, deleting scummvm.ini and booting ScummVM from the HBC (but you'll have ro re-add your games).
Is your apps/scummvm on SD or USB? Or are you using it as a wiiflow plugin?
If it was on SD, what happens if you try to boot it from USB instead?

Forgot to mention this before, but if anyone is interested enough and is a fan of the Ultima series, both VI and VIII work since months ago on the dev branch. Have not tested if they were included in the Wii port yet.

Whaaaaaaat?? I can't believe this! and no plans for VII:cry:?

Turned out to be something very simple. I plugged my USB back into my computer to check if there was something amis and sure enough it was set to use GPT. Reformatted and set to MBR and problem solved.

@GHAM2000 I'm glad that you fixed your problem.:)

@niuus The problem with Scummvm on Wii is that some types of games are not really playable with just the mouse. Games like the EOB saga, or Lands of Lore, used the cursor keys to walk or turn, you can do it with the mouse too, but you'll be slower and it will be nearly impossible to survive certain fights! (I'm thinking about the skeletons warriors in the Darkmoon's dungeons of EOB2).

It would be really wonderful to have a version with the arrow keys mapped to the D-pad . I don't know if it's even possible.
But it would do some real good service to those old dungeon crawlers.

Never played those games, but i can imagine that being the case.

#### 2.2.0 (2020-09-27)
New games:
[...]
- Added support for Ultima IV - Quest of the Avatar.
- Added support for Ultima VI - The False Prophet.
- Added support for Ultima VIII - Pagan.
[...]

Not bad.

Quickly tested Ultima VIII Pagan on 2.2.0 and to my surprise it's running really really good! :yay:
Now every Ultima game that matters to me is playable on the Wii!
There's even a new in-game menu to bind some actions to the Wiimote buttons, it's the fist time I'm seeing such a feature and It's really great to have it.
Well, to be honest, I only had a couple of issues:
- the only missing bindable key in U8 is the one to use objects (in a similar fashion of what is doing @Wiimpathy's Exult Wii) Without that key it's really frustrating to interact with objects, because double clicking with the Wiimote is nearly impossible.
Even the slightiest cursor movement while double clicking, will turn the action to drag and drop instead of using the item.
- the other issue is that every game I've tried blackscreens when you exit it using the game's menu.

Tried Torin's Passage and Operation Stealth german versions. Both games work fine. I've never played them before .

Does it give you a black screen when you try to quit scummvm? For me it happens with every single game.
I already reported it in the bug tracker, but I'm curious if this happens to other people too

Is that wiidatabase build exactly the same MD5 wise as the one available on the official website?

I've just tried with the latest stable release (2.2.1pre) and it correctly exits when you quit.
Strangely enough, the new supported games by version 2.2.0 (like Ultima 6, Ultima 8, etc.) are not recognized anymore ('there are no engines that support this game').

I've also tried the February 8 nightly build (2.3.0git) and it's crashing before launching the games. Interestingly I discovered that it started to add support for Grim Fandango.

I forgot to add that from quite some time I can't run anymore "I have no mouth...". It's saying it's missing some resource files, I've tried with 2 different copies and it's the same. Never had any problem with it in the past.
Can anybody confirm it's not working?
