Hi everyone!

I've used GBAtemp in the past to find useful information, especially about Wii homebrew. I've decided that I finally want to be a part of the action, so here's my introduction.

My gaming journey started with the Wii, with my all-time favourite games being Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports Resort (especially Island Flyover). Unfortunately my Wii died, but my parents got another one which lasted until 2017 when my brother and I decided to buy a Wii U. Yeah I know, we got it after the switch came out. It was absolutely worth it though with many hours spent in Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Maker and Terraria.

We had homebrewed our second Wii to play Wiimmfi since we were never allowed to connect the Wii to the internet when the official servers were still up. We also homebrewed our Wii U after a while, initially using Mocha, then cold boot haxchi, Tiramisu and Aroma. With Aroma putting homebrew apps on the Wii U menu, I got inspired to develop my own homebrew games for a Wii U (it had always been a dream of mine to make a game for a real console). I ported a game that I recently made for PC and wasm using C99, Dynamismal, which is a challenging single-screen physics platformer. And in about a week I wrote the initial version of Snake Battle Royale based on an idea my brother had when Tetris99 came out.

Anyways I've got more game ideas I want to bring to the Wii U and can't wait to share them with everyone. I'm also excited to see other homebrew games making it to the Wii U. Thanks to Aroma we're truly in a golden age of Wii U homebrew.
