After being inspired by Etrian Odyssey and Orcs and Elves i decided to go back and give the GBA game Mazes of Fate a try. I think the game is pretty cool but I can't save it for the life of me! I've tried putting on my 3in1 raw but I get a save error so I tried running it through NDStation to create the PSRAM save thingy - no dice and then I tried using GBATA but again I get a save error. I've also tried a couple of different downloads of the ROM file just in case...Any ideas?

Thanks in advance, P

Have you tried using eeprom v124 patcher by GBAtemp? It's a drag and drop app, just drop the rom on it and flash the output.
I'm pretty sure this will fix the error you get as mazes of fate is a v124 game

I'll give this a try. I thought I was running out of options! I didn't want to copy the game to the NOR on my 3in1 - that's where my Heretic DS lives!

Thanks bloke! That's fixed it. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to crawl around some dungeons until Etrian Odyssey 2 comes out

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
