Hacking Save Nintendo WiFi - A project to save online servers for Wii (and DS) games

i wish nintendo would wait the end of may instead of now. this is how i feel right now.

I have tested several games. Keep in mind I'm currently testing them, this will be updated as I test every games.
Here are the current list of working/not working online games in Wii :

Still Working :
Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 3
Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo's Dungeon
Rayman Raving Rabbids : TV Party

Not Working :
Conduit 2

You can still save the working games, but keep in mind it might be shut down soon.
As said in Chocobo's Dungeon official Nintendo page, the WFC had been disabled at the 20th May, but I managed to connect it to WFC, lol.

I'm probably gonna attract some hate here but...
why do you want to save Nintendo wifi for DS and Wii?

It sucked, and there's max 3 games on both that were even worth investing time into looking at online.

People like you were once in charge of things in the early years of film. They saw old movies not as works of art but as a commercial asset. They lacked vision and because of their myopic attitude hundreds of early films are gone forever, including around 80-90% of all silent films. Today some fans work tirelessly to try to recover and rebuild the lost Dr Who episodes that were destroyed to save a pittance of storage space.

Either way you cut it, we don't know what the future will look like but we can assume that someday we will look back at these early games and protoculture and maybe learn something from it. That and I love the idea of someday in the future being able to connect to a friend and play any of these old games well into the future through emulators. To me it sounds like gaming utopia.

Sure, right now? Please PM me if you're ready, because I'm currently testing working online games.
Keep in mind there must be Global Battle (If any), Add Friends, Delete Friends, and Battling Friends.
But, can you do the captures? I can't use WireShark, lol

Is there a dev blog or anything related to this project? It feels like communication is kind of sparse where toadking or nagato show up and say alittle bit, but behind the scenes I have no idea if they're still involved in collecting packets, updating the website, or what.

not sure if someone already asked but, it's does improve de conection compatibilty? Like... I never played well DS online because of a very limited copatibility with password encoding and conection methods... by any chance it will be inproved?:v

I was just about to post the same Red. I tried Cue sports earlier today and it worked. Then later tonight nope. Also Conduit 2 worked earlier, now it fails at the "update". Conduit 1 also worked. It connects but can't find any players (which is a first there is always someone on and there were several earlier). Endless Ocean 1 doesn't although I haven't tried Endless Ocean Blue world.

Goldeneye 007 is about the only multiplayer game I have at the moment that is still working.

If you'd like to capture packets, but no one to test with, I'm willing to test with you. Though I can't use WireShark nor Dolphin. I can connect all the games I've listed in the Still Working section.

So what have you captured? You should capture random matchmaking, friend matchmaking, rival matchmaking (if any), leaderboards (if any), and adding or deleting friends.

BTW, do you want to connect with me? I have all the games I listed in the Still Working list.

just friend match. i could not find anyone on random.

also if wii's were not about 90 bucks i would buy one tommorow to help out the end of the cause...

now here's some games i can't test due to error codes and me trying on emulator.

I'll test Deca Sports 2 later. Though I don't have Deca Sports 3. BTW, thanks for Nights and Octomania.
Also, why do you need a Wii? Isn't the motion can be emulated by using mouse?
Oh, have you tested Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 again?
