Hardware SanDisk 128GB SD card isn't working on Wii

While Nintendo say the Wii can only support cards up to 32gb apparently some people have cards upwards of 512gb running on Wii but my 128gig SDXC does not work. I get a message saying it is not supported. It's formatted in FAT32 and yes it's legit. Any ideas as to how I can get it working?

    Shouldn't be, because these anti cheat suites pretty much all natively support linux if I'm not mistaken, and it's down to a literal checkbox that they're not ticking.
