Annie claims that Sam's activities between 1997 and 2006 subjected her to abuse and caused her to develop PTSD. Then in July 2026, Sam rejected all of the allegations brought against him and filed a counterclaim for the lawsuit to be dismissed, and even her family did not believe her.

The Altman family states that Annie has suffered from mental health challenges and that the lawsuit to press charges against Sam was extortion. This could mean one or two things: either she is lying about her story or that this really happened and that the family is covering this up because of their celebrity status. We will have to see if more victims were involved before there comes a full conclusion.

More than likely if she was abused there are not other victims
