One of the founders of OpenAI. I made this thread as a sequel to the Elon Musk one.who the heck is that?

He is the reason why graphics card prices have gone up.
cant wait for that bubble to burst
To be fair Crypto was what started this, so AI isn't solely to blame, although now RAM prices have started to go up as well.
It's kind of funny seeing comments online now saying we shouldn't want this inevitable thing to happen because it will create a recession.....that's probably going to be worse the longer theTulip Dot-Com-Mortgage-CrisesAI bubble continues.
Although ironically this could be one of the few bubble bursts with potential medium-long terms benefits for certain sectors of the jobs market because of AI's consumption of said jobs.

There are a range of different ages that a baby can develop motor skills. The only things that a baby can do after they've been born is react to sounds and explore the world around them, and they're especially too young to use a computer until maybe 3-4 years old at most (with the inclusion of parental supervision at times to assist them). I don't think his kid will grow up to even use AI by the time the bubble pops when it's older.

Even if the AI bubble pops, LLMs are not going anywhereThere are a range of different ages that a baby can develop motor skills. I'm not sure about that, time will only tell for the future. Speculation is our only way of knowing.Even if the AI bubble pops, LLMs are not going anywhere
They may lose capital, some may go out of business, but they are here to stay

That's the biggest issue, is that, once it's mainstream then it's never going to go away, even if you're a billionaire. They will be inside relying on chatbots whilst becoming disillusioned to the point of developing AI-induced psychosis which has been documented thoroughly by doctors as a mental health problem. It's not the same as scrolling on your phone looking at the latest trending videos, this takes it to a whole another level by re-programming your brain to make it so you don't make the decisions or to trust anyone but the chatbots with information it gives.as much as it is hard to accept, the internet is now reliant on ai, so unless governments start to outright ban the use of ai everywhere on all sectors, im not seeing it going anywhere, instead it's gonna continue growing and "evolving" etc (whatever that means)
