This should turn the item in slot 1 into a stack of 9 lvl 10s:

[Slot 1 x9 Lvl 10]
54110000 2dda399c
94611100 00004800
a4100410 2dda399c
04100000 2dda39a0 09090909
04100000 2dda39a4 09090909
04100000 2dda39a8 00000009

I've tested this on atmosphere 0.10.2. No idea if it works on SX OS
Thanks! I'll give it a shot later when I get the chance.

Alright, give this one a try. Should in theory work with sxos. Put a single item in the first slot. Stacks will only get their levels set to 10. Again, only testet on atmosphere 0.10.2.

Small adjustment to the atmosphere code:

[Slot 1 x9 Lvl 10]
54110000 2dda399c
94511100 0000cfff
94611100 00004800
a4100410 2dda399c
04100000 2dda39a0 09090909
04100000 2dda39a4 09090909
04100000 2dda39a8 00000009

Now it doesn't crash with a stack other than 1 or 9. Atmosphere only!

working great! Thought it didn't work at first but I guess it doesn't work if the item is more than 1.

Can someone test these for me? First time trying to make cheats. I believe some of these cheats will only work with Atmosphere and not SX OS due to a code type/opcode I used. I don't think it's supported by SX OS.

The one that warbob500 posted is already a working save editor as long you don't use the Max FP all Villagers and don't edit Raven's values.
RF4 Save Editor - v0.0.8 RF4S V3.rar

Just don't forget to always make another backup of your save incase something buggy happened
I somehow messed up my game doing this (not even the save... the actual game can't boot). I probably did something buggy with my save on the editor, then restored with Edizon. After that, I am no longer able to boot my game. I've tried delete save data from system data management, and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the NSP. No matter what I do, I don't get anything but a black screen when I boot the game and then have to force shutdown... any idea what happening? :(

Try installing a different region version of the game and transfering your backup save to that

Anyone look at the files. I'm trying to swap the characters faces and sprites but it seems that the sizes of the faces are different between male and female and the game somehow adjusts the position of the face sprite to fit correctly. Can anyone point me the location in probably rf3FaceEffectParam.bin that refers to male and female PC starting point for the face?

Thanks
To some extent this is overcomplicating things. The face images are simple BTNX texture files. Open them in Switch Toolbox, export the images to PNG (you maybe can get away with some other formats, but PNG strikes the right balance IMO,) edit to adjust the offset to match (you can export one of the others you're swapping to and view it to get the offset) then save and replace in Switch Toolbox. Save the BTNX and put that in your layeredfs. Officially they are a format Switch Toolbox doesn't seem to support as far as I can tell, but when I was just messing around to see what I could do with a few game files I recognized I was able to replace the images importing as R8_G8_B8_A8_UNORM and probably some other formats would work too. The game seems to be fairly tolerant about that.

Ok, this is actually a bit complicated since you have to manually fix each file, but at least you don't have to wait for anyone or any special tools that aren't available yet.

BTW, quite a few things seem to be simple BTNX textures. Furniture, plants, the "paperdoll" bodies, items, etc etc. The character models are BFRES files with standard textures and all (much like what Breath of the Wild used, but minus the extra compression) so one thing I'd really love to see someone do is edit the character 3D models to be less stumpy. Way beyond my abilities sadly.

You know who'd be a hero?
The person who figures out a cheat to activate a town event.
I seem to recall there was at least one that was notoriously hard to actually get. The biggest problem with town events is triggering them is completely random and all you can do is save, sleep, then look for one of the right people to talk to. It's a real pain.

This may be unrealistic though. Someone would have to figure out what the IDs are for the events. Perhaps in one of those text files? One thing I do wonder is if it might be more realistically possible to just reset whatever algorithm decides which event is going on in a day. Then one could just keep resetting until they got what they wanted. Still not ideal, but it would end up being orders of magnitude faster and easier without the tedious reloading and resleeping.

On the subject of "hacking" this game, I wonder if anyone has ever figured out how to edit any of the game's scripts? I can think of a small handful of things at least that would be nice to adjust. Stuff like the whole event thing especially. (I was just imagining, what if an object -- say one of the trophies maybe -- could just reset the current day and all day-specific variables?) Also, it would be cool if a few little things here and there (like the way you can't stea- uh, borrow fruit from Margaret's room if she isn't actually in the room at the moment) could be modified. I couldn't find any mention of anyone doing this yet, though the translators obviously have managed to extract some files (text obviously) and I would presume that might include some scripts since they would have to adjust translations. I didn't see any discussion of actual tools or anything though...

Town Event are not much of rng anymore

The random one still random which it not importance to any progress in the game

But the important one like Memory ( Act 3 Start ) Or Marriage / Romance event are not RNG as soon as you fullfill all progress it will appear as the next event 100% because i have no problem trigger act 3 and marriage event on the 2 playthrough now

Editing script might be useful thing indeed. Since for some reason they translated Kohaku to Amber and Syelzaweed to Ventuswill, so change their name back would be awesome.

You need some of them as they are the pre-request's to some marriege events. Though I don't know why people dislike them, since you can play game normally and see them all anyway. If you want to trigger specific events it's not that hard to use "sleep with two party members" method.

Check your txt format, make sure it is UTF-8 only. I've also uploaded my file before on the main cheat thread, and you can find a lot more here.
