I'm currently trying to dump the communication with the new IC but I need to find the right SCA/SCL for it. I'm using the ones on A02-COL2 right now (pin 17,18) but only get messages to addresses 4c and 5d and nothing that looks like the init sequence....
Anybody has an idea where the other lines are on Pro boards?
Did you manage to capture the communication to the MN864729? I would be very interested if you have anything.

I have modified the command line (in ps4-linux-loader -> drm.debug=0xe) to show a lot more DRM debug messages. I've also tried the amdgpu driver on the ps4 slim. All seems to be working except for the dp->hdmi bridge device (MN864729).

The GPU does seem to detect the MN864729 (note: amdgpu driver):
Code:
[ 1.242505] [drm:drm_edid_to_eld] ELD monitor MN864729

But it still needs the MN864729 initialized (note: amdgpu driver):
Code:
[ 1.265989] [drm:amdgpu_atombios_dp_link_train] *ERROR* clock recovery tried 5 times
[ 1.265992] [drm:amdgpu_atombios_dp_link_train] *ERROR* clock recovery failed

Its a shame, the way I see it Linux is the best chance for Emulation on PS4 (in the short term anyway) I've seen Youtube vids with Dolphin running, but I'd be happy with DC PSP or PS1 for now ;) PS4 should be able to eat those systems for breakfast.. Damn you PS4 Slim :P
