Looks a bit too similar to other Pokémon games. If they are really taking Pokémon into a new direction (probably an open-world one), I'd expect a UI, and a non-top-down view.

Fake or not, There is multiple wildlife pokemon going on at the same time other than that it looks exactly like Sun & Moon even the water graphics.

Oh, I know it won't be stunning, and be an amazing game. My hopes are at the bottom low for this game, because it's made by GF. They're pretty lazy as fuck.

looking at that Lapras... To be honest I don't think they'll continue with the whole ride Pokemon thing, I think that was more of a SM/USUM exclusive, kind of like walking with Pokemon in HGSS.

Looks way too blurry to make something out of it.
As it is, it couldn't matter less if it is a blurry as hell fake or not.
The only conclusion I could take out of that picture is 7.8/10 too much water.

That's what I thought @3DS quality.
And just because of that I think it's not fake.
Their SuMo engine is probably superb portable to Switch OS so I can imagine they just throw out what was rumored ever since: Pokémon Stars, which in fact is what Pearl was for Gold and Silver and what Yellow was for Red and Blue.
