Rom Collecting Tool that sorts one rom of each.

    Is there a tool that sorts roms by one rom of each, for example it would consider the european version of the rom a dupe if I have a USA version and not included it as a rom I need.

    No, because the E and U versions would have different hashes.

    1 - Put all your ROMs in a single folder with nothing else.
    2 - Sort by name.
    3 - Remove one of each version with a duplicate.

    Assuming you have full names and region codes.

    Yes it's possible.
    And of course they will have different hashes, thats how you recognize the version from US/EU/JP/other


    Use Offline List 0.7.3 beta2.
    The dat (from Advanscene.org) contains duplicate informations.

    Though, I don't know if you can exclude roms based on the region.
    It's more a purpose to store them in the same archive, to gain space (while using 7zip, duplicates compress to 100% ratio, so having dupes or not result in the same disk space requirement).

    edit :
    There's a "duplicate filter" option which let you sort and exclude regions.
