Homebrew Riivolution not working?

When I try running riivolution on the vWii, it says I need to downgrade ios37. I try to, and it says ERROR RETREVING TMD. What do I do? Should I use something like Yet Another BlueDump to install it again? Any advice is helpful, but I am fairly new, so not too complicated please! Thank you!

    I think the best way to make it work is to construct my terrain out of triangles and then delete those tris in my "deletion area"

    From there I could just connect the tris surrounding the deletion area to the area
