That's the only thing I've heard that causes the error you are having. Do other Cores work? Did you replaced the boot.3dsx that's on the root of your 3ds sd card with the new one?Hasn't for me.
Using the 2/10 Nightly build Retroarch gpSP on 9.9 N3DS.
Black top screen and red bottom screen.

Ok if other cores are working your boot.3dsx is not the problem. Try redownloading the gpsp emulator. if you are using ftp then probably gpgp's .3dsx got corrupted or something.Other Cores work fine and CitraGB now works. I replaced old boot.3dsx with the one from the twitter post you linked.

These still refuse to boot. Tested using both PastaCFW (w/no firmlaunch) and CakesFW (w/a 9.5 firmware.bin)@Rockhoundhigh , or anyone who is having trouble starting the .cia version, could you check if these work for you ?

I've just tried the latest build and it worked fine. If you want try redownloading the pack again. Sounds like you got a corrupted gpsp .3dsx for some reason.I used the Nightly build from 23rd Sep and works fine.
I'm completely clueless to what is causing this then :/These still refuse to boot. Tested using both PastaCFW (w/no firmlaunch) and CakesFW (w/a 9.5 firmware.bin)
Either a bad rom, or you renamed the .bin/.img/.cue and tried to load the .cue sheet. So I started up the Ps1.3dsx and after I select where the bios are and turn off sound and dynamic recompiler is disabled, the ps1 boot up screen intro plays but after it ends I'm taken to a menu with a Cd player and Memory Card Option. Is there any way to go pass this?

I was running my rom which was .bin.Either a bad rom, or you renamed the .bin/.img/.cue and tried to load the .cue sheet.
The last build from 9/30 works perfectly. The last build from 10/01 does not. And the most current build also fails to make it past the Nintendo 3DS logo :/I'm completely clueless to what is causing this then :/
what was the last nightly that worked for you ?
