For the love of... What does it take to get a thread locked around here!!?? Before another flaming war begins over RA 0.9.9 please lock this thread up, we can make another one without the massive river of tears to wade through.
I wanted my own thread deleted, lmfao. Good luck;-)

you can report off topic and/or inappropriate posts. in case you find a new thread won't stop the posts you don't like. some may belong even if you don't like them.
I agree I don't have to like all posts, I just prefer to veer away from this thread so people don't have to go through all the BS that happened in the past. Well let's move on then and keep thing OnT.
Yes, there was a USB regression, but Toad King is going to release a quick bug fix today to fix that and the speed regressions :P
I read it won't be done today, but soon, not to get anyone's expectations up, including your own bud ;)

Huh, that's weird.:blink:

Actually to clarify it was yesterdays post that said that, but since it hasnt' been 24 hrs I wouldn't put it past being done let's say tomorrow maybe. Either way I don't care when it's done, I'm just glad they're working on it at all. I'm stoopid happy that the devs have decided to continue to support this platform however they see fit. :D

People can have posts removed. If people see posts removed and a warning, maybe it stops? I did not read all 130+ pages of this thread. Lol, possible that happened already. People can make a private conversation and keep good people in there, or kick them, lmfao. I highly recommend devs do this and only post updates/releases Then have mods handle inappropriate posts. It seems people get upset. Don't stick your nose out for people to swing at.

Here's an example of a new feature included with RetroArch v0.9.9...

Overclocking Snes SuperFX Games!!!

Edit: the video shown is not from RetroArch...

Although, I dare someone to try and play Starwing on 100mhz. lmao :L

Yes it was, but only for Starfox though.

Edit: v0.9.9-fix1 is now available to download from the RetroArch forums (page 10).

Some questions for tyrquake:
-is it possible to play it with mp3 music?
-is it possible to look up/down?

Does anyone have mission packs working on tyrquake core? I've asked the lib retro guys and they assure me it is working. Every time I try to load rogue or hipnotic I get code dump on retroarch.

Also does anybody have sega cd/mega cd games working on genplusgx core? Everything I try loading code dumps. And yes every game was working before updating to new rev plus I do have all the bios files in same folder as my bin/cue files.

Shining Force CD working in the Gamecube build. I do not have the bios files in the same folder than my bin/cue files, I have them in the system folder inside retroarch folder, or you could change the system folder in the path option in the menu.

I did some testing with the new retroarch release yesterday, and can confirm the same issues with rogue and hypnotic. Also noticed that a loooot of my cps2 games are codedumping as well.

@aea
thanks for the info. I tried copying the bios files to retroarch/system and all is good now :)

@mastershoes
I tried a lot of my cps2 games a mo ago and have found no problems. Give me the name of a rom that code dumps for you and I'll try it.

Also wtf is with the tyrquake core? I spoke to squarepusher on libretro who tells me the following folder structure should work:-

<Quake>

\pak0.pak
\pak1.pak
\<rogue>
\\\\pak0.pak
\<hipnotic>
\\\\pak0.pak

Funny; I tried that and still code dump loading mission packs. The guys on the ps3 boards are having problems with it too and still no solution. Haven't tried the latest rev on my ps3 so may give it a shot later. Anybody that gets it running please let me know how.

@tetsuo shima
Music is not possible with tyrquake on original quake game if anyone remembers the original game cd had Nine Inch Nails and Trent audio tracks. The developers of tyrquake are not interested in supporting audio tracks in mp3/ogg format as they stated it is very low on their priorities. If you want to use the sound track in mp3/ogg format in the game try qrev emulator on wii. Music works on that for me plus slightly better control system. I've read that music is possible on tyrquake with the mission packs because the music was stored in the pak files (perhaps we'll find out if ever get them working on retroarch).

You can look up and down in tyrquake by holding X button (gamecube and classic controller) and moving analog stick up and down.
