So a friend and I are trying to play RE:TM 3D - she's in the US region and I'm in EU region. When we went to search for friends online, we both get "Could not find a friend" regardless of who hosts. We tried using US CIAs, same error. Anyone know what's up? Is it somehow hard region locked to the system region, or is the game just fucked up?

Well it doesn't give any errors when it's doing the initial internet connection, and if it doesn't have to go through any servers, that makes it sound like the connection would be P2P, no? Feels like it would give an error rather than saying a friend could not be found. Also feels like there should be an announcement or at least ANY information about it closing on the internet..
