hey so we already got android apps for the gateway launcher and a multi launcher witch just needs hosting on a mobile webserver, can some make a windows phone app with one of these? installing unsinged apps on a windows phone is easyer than stealing a kid the lolly so it shouldnt be that hard...

Yeah, you're not trying to start anything...
I love my android but you have to admit this thing is fking broken without an app killer installed.

And those androids from 4 years ago with 2.3.3 and 256 mb of ram? Phones from Satan himself sent to cause suffering. They had to be incompetent to make a phone laggy and buggy enough to get someone killed when it takes 3 minutes to call 911.

Also why the fk is there no microsd slot on newer models? Just a scam to get people to pay +$200 for the 64 gb one. Sorry, getting off topic.

Note 4 with 64gb msd... No lag, no memory problems. Also, it's not hard to end an app process.. You kind of need to on any platform. I ran an iPhone 6...for a day... Holy hell was it slow.. The Safari browser took 3 times as long to load anything... Yeah... Android is slow and laggy... Spare me.

Anyway... I don't think a Windows phone will see a gateway launcher..

yeah i owned a windows phone for a few months....couldn't stand it, it was so restrictive on what you could do, felt like an old persons phone who has everything blocked so it just makes calls, and if your feeling adventurous maybe a text or two XD......so on that note i doubt the windows phone OS would let people have enough access to it to run any sort of web sever stuff.....but idk i could be wrong

Ofc you are able to run a web server, WP is even more open than iOS (Yeah we got a Filebrowser too ;) )

well i had it back when windows phone 7 launch (had a lumia 600 i think)....and it was like urgh....ringtone....go to computer edit MP3 to under 30 seconds replace tags to brand it as a ringtone.....shesh i cba with all that crap, just set a damn mp3 as a ring tone its not that hard :P

idk things have probably changed since then but when i had one there was no hacks, and like 200 angry birds clones on the marketplace....and that was it, maybe a half made bubble bobble clone

I have a file browser on my iOS device. (I even managed to delete the var folder once - phone crashed and I needed to reinstall iOS.) So it is as locked as everyone thinks.

Obviously the manufacturer wants to cut costs and sell a cheaper product... isn't it obvious? Sure it would be cheaper bundled because [Insert Major Corporation Here] could buy them in bulk, but is it really that horrible that you have to buy flash storage yourself? At least you get to pick the exact amount you want.

So, I can now load the gw launcher.dat from an win 8.1 shared app, will test it later today on windows phone(i don't own one myself, but my brother does). For now i will try to implement the qr code generation.

I have a Windev Account.
In the SDK is an application to unlook the Phone. After that Visual Studio can transfer it.

I will improve my application a bit(at the moment I can create an QR code and its possible to get the gateway .dat loader site),
and after that i will upload the source to github, so that anybody can see and test it.
And in the End I will Upload it to the Store, so that anybody could dowmload it.

My target beside the possibility to load the Gateway mode from anywhere is to allow the user to load his own .dat file from the Server(for example decrypt9).

Edit: Or you could use the WindowsPhone that is include in the SDK to test it.

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare

@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
