Stop talking about Moore's "law" as if it's actually a physical law. It's a mere observation, and it's in decline.

Not only that, but Moore's law doesn't imply ANYTHING about pricing. Just because they can fit more transistors on a card doesn't mean they can fit the previous amount of transistors for cheaper. It means we can make better supercomputers, but it says nothing about the consumer market. In multi core processors that aren't parallelised, the transistor density doesn't significantly impact how well it works either. You'd expect a 10% improvement rather than an 100% improvement if you doubled the transistors on a multi core cpu. It also implies nothing about electrical efficiency or thermal efficiency.

Admittedly it looks just as good, if not better. The tech isn't super advanced but it's better than seven year old tech.

Also Assassin's Creed III is multiplat between the two if you wanted a comparison.

Guess so. I'll keep an eye on it, see how it goes. But I've not seen anything truly fascinating on this console that I can't achieve elsewhere so far. Hopefully the system will show its unique abilities off a bit better once it builds up some steam.

The PS3 can't even run at 1080p without serious repercussions to the framerate, but the Wii U doesn't have the issue. As for the graphics not being comparable, you're sorely mistaken

Do you realize that WiiU isn't running next gen games...!? (but even so that are respectable differences like framerate and higher resolution)

The potential at this point is in exclusive games like ZombiU, Rayman, New Super Mario Bros, etc, etc....

PS3 is capable of doing 1080p output over 120hz refresh rate, (that 120frames per second for you) it just the lazy game developers wont do it, I think some games already doing a 60fps over 1080p like GT5.

All games had a 23-25fps on games, since there's no actually need to do a 60fps or 120fps on all games anyway. although havig a game running on 120 fps can do generate a 3D effect, but that will hurt your eyes.

Nintendo said the WiiU isn't going to be like the next gen consoles and its just better than the current consoles.
Nintendo have always been 1 generation behind. The Gamecube was equal to the PS1, the Wii was equal to the PS2, the WiiU will be equal to the PS3.
They said its not about graphics or how powerful it is its down to the games and the gameplay. What they are saying is compared to other consoles this will be crap but the games are what make it good.
