Has anyone tested this on a Ninty Wifi Connector?
If so, I'll know I'm doing something wrong...

Launch the server on the computer you want to control, it will use port 7777 as default. Find this computers local IP-address. Connect the RTDS client to this IP-address and make sure that your Nintendo DS WFC data is proper for your D-link router (you can check this with a game that supports Nintendo WFC).Rarokko said:Sorry for asking, but this will work with a router D-Link?
I have 3 computers, and I just want the RTDS to 1 computer.
This is possible?
I am aware of this and will release an updated version of the server-backend. You will then be able to specify the mouse sensitivity when you start the server.kadyome said:good job!! except for the mouse?? why is it the speed really slow? do you know how to fix this? i really like the 0.2.2 version mouse.. well i'll stick to that first cuz i can't really play my rhythm game...
What exactly to you mean? Can you clarify your question?YoshiKart said:Will this have the ability to do absolute cursor positioning (like for graphics tablets)?
Maybe you can use the GUI to set the dimensions the DS touch screen can work on the monitor, and then go from there.![]()
What card are you using? Are your card FAT-formatted, because it needs to be FAT-formatted. It has nothing to do with your router or the fact that you have more computers. It seems to be a problem with your flashcart.asterion said:It seems i'm in a bit of a bind here
When I load up RTDS, it gives me these results in the following order:
- Connecting with WFC data . . .
- rtds_config.txt missing . . .
the rtds_config.txt is actually not missing though, it's sitting in the root of my flashcart with the IP & port # (192.168.1.111:7777).
What am I doing wrong? Is it because I have more then 1 computer? My wireless router?
It was never the plan to do this. In my opinion VNC is worthless with the size of the Nintendo DS screens. About going away from your computer while using Remote Touch DS - the mouse and keyboard control where never meant to be used for thatkadyome said:do you have plans on making this a VNC? its funny because even when i'm upstairs I can control my computer even without sitting in front of it lol!!
BlazerRazor said:You can't get it to work with WPA. WPA will only work if you have a DSi and the homebrew you run is running in DSi mode. This is not possible yet (to an extend it is, but not usable).798-Icebird said:Any way to get this working with a WPA key or a nintendo USB connector?![]()
Sorry for this question if it is too stupid![]()
So you will have to turn of WPA on your wireless router and for security set it to only allowing certain MAC addresses to acquire IP's (this is still a security issue, but it will suffice).
This is currently an issue with all homebrew.
If you on the other hand use a Nintendo WIFI USB Connector you will be able to get it to work.
What do you mean? I just released 0.3 a couple of days agokadyome said:uhuh.. no progress so far?
As the text states... check your WFC data. You need to configure this with a wifi compatible game before you can get your router/wireless connection to work.KingVamp said:I did everything ,as in watch video and read readme file it does not work for me.
Keep getting
Connecting with wfc data...
Connection to the AP failed...
Validate your WFC data...
