Wow! Thanks for all the time you spent workin' on this.

Buut, I read the readme.txt and now it got me all confused.

I am an extreme case of computer noob so please help me out.

I know how to find my IP address myself.

But I don't know what to do in the Exe file. I can't type in it...

I don't know what text file to put on the root of my MicroSD card.

I don't know what the DLL file is for.

I don't know what the image file (the PNG) is supposed to do.

Oh ya, and what's a port?

Basically, I didn't understand anything from the ReadMe.

Help plz?? Thanks

Hey I have a slot-2 M3 perfect lite adapter and this program WILL NOT work.

It says "rtds_config.txt missing", although it is happily sitting in my root folder in the correct format. I also made sure to DLDI patch the client file.

It's a shame... I was hoping to play Halo 3 with a touchscreen using my mouse/keyboard adapter hookup.

Ok, it looks like my card is formatted to FAT32. I thought I formatted this card to comply with my Wii... If this is the case: "Blazer, I am disappoint."

Nope, formatted it to FAT and it still doesn't work.

I will release a new server-backend written in Java very soon. This will mean the server-backend will be able to run and function on almost any system (windows, linux, os x and other *unix).

oh lol i mean the 0.3+ version.. pretty excited about the key mappings, im left handed, its hard for me to use it haha

Ohh, now I understand

I will release the 0.3.5 version of the server-backend written in Java very shortly, I just have some small adjustments going on. You are able to make you own custom key-bindings with this rewritten server-backend.

I am sorry to hear you are having problem with your slot-2 card. I think the problem here is that the library libfat, which the client uses, have some problems with your specific slot-2 card. It is hard for me to test and debug anything as I don't have that card. I will try doing a recompile of the client with the newest version of libfat. You can then test and see if it makes a difference. On more thing... what other homebrew application have you tried which uses FAT?

This hb is just great. I have a question, is it just me o the pad sensitivity needs to be tuned up? Sometimes it goes fast and others even if i move the stylus very fast the mouse moves incredibly slow. If that works flawlessly the hb could be used in better ways like drawing and stuff like that. This has great potential.

I think that would be fixed within the next version, it also includes mouse sensitivity settings right? so far so good
and yeah about the VNC, the graphics really sucks and got slow refresh rate, you're right bout that blazer...

Here is another thing. Hope it helps.

I use it like a remote to watch movies so mostly MEX so I put play and close the DS to save batt. After a while I open it and buttons don't work, the mouse moves but buttons/clicks don't work.

The solution I found is I have to be in remote touch's main screen then close and open the ds and press start to reconnect, then everything works again.

Good point. I will fix this in the next version.

This looks interesting. I guess it would be nice to play around with.

Great homebrew!

What card are you using? Are your card FAT-formatted, because it needs to be FAT-formatted. It has nothing to do with your router or the fact that you have more computers. It seems to be a problem with your flashcart.

I'm using Acekard 2i & I'm quite sure it's FAT-formatted. I'm about to reformat it again just in case. Hopefully it will fix the issue

Edit: I've figured it out. I re-named the text file as rtds_config without the .txt at the end

QUOTE5. In the root of your flashcart put a file called "rtds_config.txt"

Is there a way to hide the server so I can play a prank on my bro?

Sounds very weird with the renaming, it must be something specific with your card.
About hiding the server. A new server-backend will soon be released, it's totally rewritten in Java and it will support close to tray.

Acceleration is much needed. Media player functions work nicely.
Is there an enter/return key? Also an option for external keyboard skinning would help for other charsets (like french, german, greek) since the OS allows for language switching

Any way you could add EsounD output? Then I wouldn't have to use the DS Linux for that

Keep it up,
Great work!

A new version is pretty much finished. The only thing that is delaying this release is that I have some problems with media keys with Java. Java does not recognize media keys (play, pause, stop etc.). I'm currently trying to find a solution to this problem.

Version 0.6 of Remote Touch DS released!

This is a major release and contains lots of bugfixes and new improved features. This release features a completely rewritten server-backend in Java. This means the server will work cross-platform (Windows, OS X, Linux and other *unix variants). Also supports custom key-mapping and custom mouse acceleration.

Read more in first post.

I would be glad if people running Linux or other *unix variants would give me some feedback.

Looks nice so far. And the key binding feature is more than appreciated.

My only complaint: the mouse still feels unresponsive, even with the sensitivity setting. Is there any way to get the old mouse mode back? Maybe an extra setting to let the users choose which one to use.
