So many people keep asking the same questions about the cache/reporting errors without a log/and asking about games.
Maybe you should add those to the first post trouble-shooting and availability depends on the external database. :P
Yeah I should do that :P

It's possible that your application cache got corrupted.
I advise you to rename the folder Apps to Apps.bak in %localappdata%. Then reinstall the app.
You will not lose your downloaded games.

So I renamed the folder and ran the setup and I'm happy to say that it works now!
Thanks for the help! :D

Awesome tool!

Would it be possible to add a batch command to copy all downloaded titles to SD? I've been manually adding each one to the copy queue and that would make it a whole lot easier.

Selecting multiple might be better, either way it would be nice to be able to add more than 1 at a time to the SD card.
Well I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing here but there is a download queue to copy several games in a row to the SD card.
If your question was about whether or not it's possible to add several games at once to this queue then the answer is not because you have to decide for each game what you want to copy (game, update, dlc). I feel like it would be confusing if you were to have a queue of games to add to the queue.
That said, many people seem to miss it but there is a contextual menu to speed things up.

What I meant was a way to add everything downloaded (game, DLC, patches) to the SD card all with one button instead of manually adding each one to the queue.

Hmm if they have been verified by the app chances are the problem might come from something else than the files.
What error are you getting?

I believe the error was the who files aren't complete or full. I will try to install again and I'll get the error for you. Other games have been fine off the app just these 2 lego games. Let me go turn my wiiu on

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok error is
Install of title 00000000-00000000 failed
Install:/LEGO_STAR WARS_The Force Awakens (00050000101DAB00)
Error:MCP_InstallGetInfo 0xFFFBF3E2
Confirm WUP files are in the folder. Try Power Down

The title id 00000000-00000000 appears to be incorrect.
Dumb question, did you copy the game manually or with the app?

Ah I think I know what's the problem then.
These games probably have © in their names, don't they?
Wupinstaller doesn't like special characters.
The app normally removes them when you use it to copy games, but since you did it manually they're still there.

Is this an easy fix? I still have the star wars game in the sd and can check if I know what I'm looking for

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
