I've had the same issue. Not sure what causes it. Bonk 2 and 3 seem to work fine, though, for me at least.Whenever I go to install Bonk's Adventure onto my 3DS, it shows up as a glitchy mess. Is it a fault in the emulator, or the ROM i'm using?
Install 7-Zip, right mouse click the .PCE roms → CRC SHA → CRC-32 or SHA-1. Compare the hashes against good dumps.Neutopia 1 and Dungeon Explorer (TG-16) don't seem to work. I tried injecting them countless times with different IDs and values.
I ran them through NSUI build 28, and they worked!I did check the MD5 + SHA-1 vaues of both R*Ms. They're both pretty good dumps.
Either they're currently incompatible or I'm doing something wrong. They do seem to run flawlessly through temperPCE. Although, I'm not sure why forwarding them through the injector doesn't work.
Here's build 28 of NSUI. You can inject PCE games through it as well. Try and inject/convert them through that.Has anyone made a compatibility list yet?
Splatterhouse & Bloody Wolf both work great.
Bonk's Adventure & Street Fighter Champion Edition do not. They run, but the graphics/sprites are all glitched to smithereens.
Couldn't get Hit the Ice to even display.
Not sure if I have bad dumps, but I've gone to multiple sources for the ROMS. Hit the Ice isn't an easy find, though. Only found one out there so far.

It might be an issue with the R*ms themselves. Try finding other versions. If that problem persists, then it may be from the program itself. Thanks! I did that (at least, I think I did...). There were multiple links, and I downloaded one that was certainly more robust in features and functions, but wasn't in English. Luckily, I'm familiar enough with the software that it wasn't an issue.
- Bonk worked!
- Hit the Ice did not. Still doesn't display (think I might have a bad dump, idk).
- Street Fighter II' Champion Edition still features missingno's for character sprites, lol. Think it may be incompatible due to the size. I know it's a lot bigger than a normal card. I downloaded multiple dumps from different sites, and it's the same thing every time.
Yeah, I actually figured it out. For whatever reason, certain ROMs are incompatible -- or at the very least, glitched out -- with the standard, default "Injection method" under the content options in NSUI. In the case of a TG16 ROM like SFII' Champion Edition, the default is "PC Engine Virtual Console". There are two other options to choose from: "RetroArch Mednafen PCE Fast forwarder" and "RetroArch Mednafen SuperGrafx forwarder". I changed it to the SuperGrafx forwarder, and now the game runs flawlessly. Same for some other ROMs I was having trouble with on other consoles, like the SNES.It might be an issue with the R*ms themselves. Try finding other versions.
