yeah, have that already running. Just kinda want to upgrade to a 7.x just incase i put a retail cartridge of Pokemon X or ORAS and forgot that my save will corrupt.

Most likely not. rxTools.dat will not work if the file is renamed and I don't think the MsetForBoss 6.x rop will work. 9.x MSET is different from 4.x and 6.x since it uses Memchunkhax and what not to gain Arm9 access. I'm not sure what 6.x stuff did, but it wasn't full access like the 4.x MSET was. I'm sure the 9.x MSET could be adjusted to work on other firmware ranges. You should talk to mid-kid about that. His CFW was the first to use it and I believe b1l1s and mid-kid worked on the 9.x MSET stuff.

Are the dumping and injecting tabs disabled? And what is the 5th dot of the data install mean? It always shows an x and does it every time.

It is normal, you just need to take note of the version, after that, put your version on the root of your SD and it will succed.

Try 2.5.2. That worked for me.

AS said above try that one, it should print the correct version, another option you have is to try with every .tmd until it installs FBI correctly.

I tested latest git and for some reason it refuses to load the tools menu for me, it gets stuck on Loading... screen forever, but loads directly to emuNAND just fine.

So that is the issue then, I put it on the root of the SD
