Exiting from SVDT back to Homebrew Grid Launcher results in a black screen. It also takes a looong time to load the app

Awesome! now the boot up is even faster! The homemenuhax splash screen used to show up for a second time before loading the splashscreen but now it go straight to the splashscreen. Thanks @mashers and @RedHat

Just timed beta 93 and beta 94 both take exactly 14 seconds to load for me so no speed increase in boot of beta 94 on my 10.1 o3ds

Are you using homemenuhax? maybe the speedup was only for homemenuhax users cause the homemenuhax splashscreen used to show for a second time before the hbl splashscreen appear and it took like 2 seconds more.

I am using homemenuhax auto-boot. Just changed my theme and now getting a boot time of 12 secs so looks like themes effect boot time somehow

You are right. I just tested with a theme that does not haves music and it booted almost instantly.

Returnning from SVDT，HANS will cause the hbl freeze at the splash screen，Any idea？
I think anything use the .xml won't get back to the launcher correctly now.

Could you try to exit using L+R+Down+B combo. I think that's a workaround.

Sounds like SVDT hasn't been compiled with the latest ctrulib.

I just tested and it works with the L+R+Down+B combo. If I use the normal way it get's stuck on the splashscreen.
Edit: while it's stuck on the splashscreen the button combo still works and I can get back to the launcher.

I think the problem is only with the xml homebrews，it seems to be the reason why retroarch MAME core and FBA-full core will not get to HBL rightly

Yes. I tested CHMM2 and got the same result.

I will be looking into the problem with returning from XML titles at some point today. I have been able to reproduce this problem and will hopefully have a fix available later. I'm just hoping it's not related to me removing stuff from tinyxml as this was an essential part of adding new features, and if I have to add any of it back I'm concerned that other features will no longer work. However, rest assured that I know about the problem and will work on it asap.
