Nintendo of Japan & the offical japanese Pokémon Homepage have confirmed, that the Release Date of Pokémon HeartGold & Pokémon SoulSilver is set to September 2009!

It has yet not been said, if the game will be released on 11th of September, but this will most likely not happen on this day.

At the moment we just know that the official Release Date is September 2009.

Maybe there will be more information of the Release DAY in the next few weeks!

I don't see why it would. What does Japan care about Sep 11th? The world doesn't have to stop once every year because of a terrorist attack. If it released on Sep 11 in the US I can see how it would be a problem since people are stupid. But were talking about a Japan release date. Sep 11 is perfectly fine.

First of all, no, CoroCoro did NOT say a release date of Sept. 11th.

And second of all, ALL official pages still DO NOT have a specific release date. I'm looking at it now, and it only says Fall of 2009.
No mention anywhere of September.
