by hex editing activate event strings and deactivate event strings which is impossible because thats only editing strings,not the actual file and thus would actually do nothing XD

why do DLCs work for Smash but not MK8?

Well this is done via editing ui files to enable character and stage slots. Mk8 is done differently.

But the irony here is on the 3ds, all dlc is the same and can be installed on a Khaxed 3ds as Cia but yet on the wii u with loadiine,it's different for each game.

Totally makes sense nintendo XD

Wii U is actually near the same. there is another format that is installable like WUP or something that can install games and likely DLCs the same way as CIA files. We just haven't messed with such files due to lack of IOSU being fully working. Also Wii U may use .tik files too for games and DLC.

Dont forget that CIA is INSTALLING the dlc the right way and that loadiine doesn't have a wup installer or anything like that.

I know that but still the Wii u eshop is basically a Web WUP installer,and the 3ds eshop is basically a Web Cia installer.

Buts let's be honest,users were never meant to manually install .cia or .wad

For some reason I have to clean install my graphics card to run Mario Kart 8 at 60 FPS again. I don't know if this is an issue for many people, but it has been bothering me for the past while. I'm probably gonna need to get a new PC since this one is an giving me enough headaches. This is a laptop so I can't replace the graphics card.

When upgrading to new versions, suggest deleting the shader cache folder and let it rebuild with new ones. That helped me alot and got 60fps again.

Yeah the sound is slowed down for me, as well as the game. Not sure why the sound would not be in sync with the game speed.

The sound is in sync, it appears to be playing at the wrong sampling rate though, giving that slow-mo effect.
