Hi everyone!
After a long development journey, I’m very happy to finally say it:
Dungeon Durban v1.0.0 is officially released for the Game Boy Advance!
Dungeon Durban is an old-school top-down dungeon action game developed specifically for the GBA, where you explore increasingly dangerous dungeons, collect every coin, fight monsters and bosses, and try to find the path to freedom.
And yes – this is a real Game Boy Advance game. The .gba ROM can be played in an emulator or on original hardware using a flash cartridge.
One of the features I especially wanted to bring back is something that belongs to the GBA era:
Real 2-player multiplayer using a Game Boy Advance Link Cable.
Dungeon Durban includes:
Multiple worlds filled with dungeons, enemies and boss fights
Single-player gameplay
2-player Link Cable multiplayer (use a high quality link cable!)
15 unlockable achievements
Additional BONUS game modes
Save-game support
Original retro-style music and sound
Support for real Game Boy Advance hardware
A lot of work went into getting the game from the first playable builds to this final v1.0.0 release, especially the multiplayer, level design, additional game modes, achievements and hardware compatibility.
I also want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who played the public beta versions, reported bugs, shared ideas and gave me such positive feedback during development.
It really helped shape the final game.

If you own a GBA, a flashcart and especially a second GBA + Link Cable, I’d love to hear how it runs on your hardware!
Interested in a physical copy? Shoot me a message!
And although Dungeon Durban for GBA has now reached v1.0.0...
...this might not be the last time Lord Durban enters the dungeon.
Watch out for another announcement very soon.
Dungeon Durban is coming to another legendary 16-bit console.
Thanks for playing!
