Me. :rofl2:

Also, this is a DLC course, right?
Yes, finally got around to swapping course files. :P

To get it this fast, Overwrite Vertex Buffer Size needs to be enabled. Seems to be perfect then :D
Do you happen to know if any other titles benefit from Overwrite Vertex Buffer Size? (and Persistent Vertex Buffer)
I'm completely lost when it comes to debug options tbh.

The other title I know that needs Overwrite Vertex Buffer Size enabled for speed is Donkey Kong - Tropical Freeze.

Recommended Yoshi settings? I can barely get 8fps, whilst mk8 runs at 26fps slower than previous releases where I was getting
over 30fps.

Hi guys, I know Intel chipsets are not the best for emulation under cemu. But does anybody know how well a Intel Iris Pro 540 will run?

I'm thinking for getting a NUC6I5SYH with a Skylake CPU.

I hope this can run decent. Thanks

So I also tried Severed, and noticed that if you change the in-game video to only show video on the TV actually gains 10 fps.

Funny how a lot of people criticize this emulator but couldn't tell you how a Wii U actually works.

If some of you are going to put down Cemu, better have your own Wii U emulator to back your claims up.

Really, cause that's the way the world works is it? No one is ever allowed to criticise anything that they're not fully trained on themselves?

I was unaware of this, thanks for enlightening me /s

Being a small business owner I can tell you you'd better damn well be open to criticism and be wiling to act on it, how the hell are you supposed to know when you made a mistake otherwise?

Thanks, didn't have it enabled when I made my video. (Hopefully I'll know which debug settings to use in when I start making videos in the next revision of Cemu.

Edit- Odd, I get much worse performance in DK:TF with Overwrite Vertex Buffer Size enabled.

any idea why paper mario is crashing?
I would assume some function that it needs to boot either isn't emulated properly or isn't emulated at all. Decaf gets a little further, but that's because it's being built for accuracy and not speed.

I kind of expect both emulators to hit a point where Cemu will have progressed far enough that it will start focusing on accuracy and Decaf will be accurate enough to start optimizations in the not-so-distant future. At this point they'll either become essentially the same emulator under the hood or they'll need to start working together to figure out what functions its partner is missing

Constructive criticism is fine. Uneducated ranting from mindless cretins when they have no comprehension of how emulation development progresses, not so much.

sorry for the double post, I don't know hot to cancel one.

How to run this game? I have european edition, and after the second screen, that show the available controllers who are usable for play, it goes into permanent black screen.
Is needed a specific configuraton to play it on CEMU 1.6.0 ?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
