who knows anymore? Exzap keeps missing releases so...
Not true. When did we ever miss a promised release date? We give very rough estimates on purpose.
silent here.Well he said that public version is right after a week from patreon
A week. Doesn't mean it will be one week to the minute exact. Nobody complains when we sometimes release the public version a few hours earlier, so I hope you can handle it if it goes online a little later. Also, Patreon 1.4.2b was released 6 days ago and technically we are releasing the 1.4.2b update a day earlier.
@Exzap @Petergov Can you clarify some vague subjects for the community? Will The Public version ever have highly improved new feature that were not present in the week's prior Patreon version (like the multicontroller support) ?
The public version will likely never have new large scale features, because 1) it would defeat the purpose of what we consider a "stable public release" and 2) we would have to manage two different code bases for a week which would slow down development.
Btw. since it's somewhat related to the discussion I should mention that the multi-controller feature is not ready yet, it might not even make it into the next Patreon release.
@Exzap Do you have "jobs irl"? (as if cemu isn't its own job)
CEMU is my fulltime job. Practically keeps me busy 24/7 and maintaining CEMU as a side project wouldn't really be possible.
I'll let
@Petergov answer the question on his own. (If he wants to)
@Exzap How are you looking into ways to further combat piracy of your product?
I assume you are asking because of that "cemu mod" thingy? Honestly I have not seen any evidence that it's actually 1.4.2b and not just 1.4.1 with a renamed titlebar.
That said, I am quite happy with the current solution and feedback from the Patrons has been positive as well. There aren't really any changes planned other then to make it even less of a hassle for Patrons (E.g. allow activation without Internet)
@Exzap Didn't you guys mention an implementation of a specific program that would allow games like sm4sh and Tekken specifically that would allow the games to go ingame?
Nope. No idea where that rumour came from.
