Does this work alongside Adrenaline on Vita or can it be used as the sole PSP CFW on a Vita?
Hey everyone, any possibility of MacroFire to freeze and turn off the PSP in latest ARK-4 update ? I'm using MacroFire 3.2.9 and as soon as it's activated in the plugins, the console freezes after a few seconds, then turns off by itself. Wanted to use it in Kingdom Hearts BBS Final Mix as it's a Japanese iso, to remap X and O.
amazing, it worked, many thanks !https://gbatemp.net/threads/macrofire-for-adrenaline-button-remaps-macros-rapidfire.468296/
Try with that, the guide is for Adrenaline but may work anyway.
ARK itself takes up only a few MBs so space shouldn't be an issue (the savedata folder is less than 4MB iirc and the Bubble loader is less than 1MB).Yes depending on version you install. Standalone seems to be better for PSP DLC compatibility. Overall I recommend just using both Adrenaline for most things and this as standalone for the PSP DLC unless you really need the space for some reason.
It works alongside or inside Adrenaline. In other words, you can have ARK running by itself on the original pspemu (we call this Standalone installs) or you can have ARK running inside Adrenaline to combine both into a single CFW (we call this Pentazemin).Does this work alongside Adrenaline on Vita or can it be used as the sole PSP CFW on a Vita?
It doesn't modify Adrenaline
Can you elaborate? However running inside adrenaline makes it a tad slower, it is barely noticeable but it is there.
Can you elaborate?
Oh you mean the CFW boot time, I thought you meant once the CFW was loaded it would be slow (i.e. FPS drops or whatnot). You can try yourself, first open ARK as a standalone and time how long it takes. Then open it inside Adrenaline and time how long it takes.
That's what the Full Flash Install is for. Once done, you can get rid of the savedata folder and the CFW will still have all its features. On Vita you will need the savedata folder since there's no other way to install the CFW (there's no flash0 that we can use to store things, it's all in RAM).Hi Acid_Snake. Tell me, is there no way to make a "Hidden version"? I think that many people don't like that there is something in the SAVEDATA folder. Maybe you can move it somewhere so that it doesn't attract the eye so much? For example, just to the PSP folder? Example: PSP\ARK4
Sorry for my English.
