Yes i have the old new leaf from freeshop and the green flashes on the 3ds splash screen ntr cfw 3.6 and installed eveything correctly, but it wont work. The select button does nothing. I thought that opened the mod menu I also have boot9hax with 11.5 and luma latest version. Can anyone explain my the problem?
I believe on 3.6 you must open the menu (select) either indoors or on the title screen itself....also, if that doesn't work, try out the beta 4.0 and see if anything happens then. Either that or try reinstalling the plugin and see if that works.
You should be fine with the firmware you have currently.

you were talking about the 3.6 for ntr, not the ntr plugin itself. Try downloading previous versions of the plugin if the beta 1 or 2 doesnt work....make sure you have the correct region as well
Hey guys! I really love this plugin, and everything works fine for me except for the real time world edit. I can open the plugin's keyboard to store the ID for the thing that I want, but when I use the key combo to actually place anything, nothing happens. I tried hitting the area with a shovel, coming in and out of view, and even saving the game and loading it back up. Is this happening for anyone else?

I was pissed when I was unable to spawn so this little trick was very helpful

Usage:
Multiplayer Usage
InventoryThe only cheats that work online and locally are the Inventory Codes and Movement Codes!
This means you can Moon Jump, Teleport, or literally fly around other's towns or your own! You can even use all of the Movement Codes indoors! You can even duplicate or spawn any item in someone's town or your own without any hesitation!
MovementText to Item
Duplication
Press R to duplicate whatever item you have in slot 1 to slot 2. This continues to execute until you release the R button so it's useful to plant flowers or something
EnvironmentDon't execute any of these cheats during house, island, title, or any other big transitions or your 3DS with restart!
This includes: Saving, Tortimer Rankings, while sitting on the boat, sailing to the island, taking a trip to someone's town / someone taking a trip to your town, starting to dream, entering / leaving a house or store etc.
Moon Jump
Coordinates ModifierPress L to make your character fly.
Speed HackYou press A+D Pad in the direction you want, and you'll be moving around the map without even moving your legs! You move around so fast that you can bypass collisions so you can basically walk anywhere you want!
Press Select again in the cheat menu to speed up or slow down how fast you want to go.
TeleportPress and hold B to start running at a turbo fast speed! Ported from Mega-Mew's code, but fixed his so it doesn't change your velocity while you're not moving.
Anti Gravity and MorePress B+D Pad Up to save your current location and Press B+D Pad down to teleport to your saved location. Press L/R while storing your location to store multiple locations.

SeederAfter executing one of the Environment Codes, you have to run out of view of it and come back, shake it, hit it with a shovel, or anything else to update it and let Animal Crossing know that it's a verified object.
Type in the ID of the item (Environment items work best, but you can pick anything) you want, drop a 100 bell coin (ID: 20AC) and then press R+D Pad down to set the 100 bell coin to whatever the hex code of the item you type in chat is.
You can also press R+D pad up to destroy whatever item id you type in the chat on the map.
To undo any changes, press R+D Pad Left.
Search and Replace
1. Type in XXXXYYYY where XXXX is searching value and YYYY is replacing value. Send it in chat, and press L + D-pad left to execute.
Instant Tree
Press X for your tree to instantly grow!
Real Time World Edit
Press R+A CodesType in the ID of the item ID you want, send it to chat and press R + D-pad down to place the item directly where you're standing.
These cheats all use the same button combo (R+A) to work. You must update ACNL's status after executing one of these cheats by going in and out of a house. You can only enable one of these cheats at a time so that they don't interfere with each other!
Destroy All Weeds
Water All FlowersPress R+A to eliminate all instances of weeds, clovers, rafflesia, and dandelions. Does not work online, and this code is a little unstable but I think all the bugs are ironed out.
GrassPress R+A to water dry flowers and restore wilted flowers back to life. This doesn't work for all flowers because some tags are different on their watered state.
DesertPress R+A to completely replenish all of the terrains to grass!
Press R+A to completely destroy all of the terrains to desert!

Time MachinePress B + D Pad Right to fast forward an hour, press B + D Pad Left to rewind an hour.
Press B + D Pad Down to revert the in-game time to the system time.
Press R + D Pad Right/Left to watch time rewind/fast forward with no restrictions on keypresses.
Type YYMMDDHHmm in chat and send it.
YY is the year, MM is the month, DD is day HH is the hour, and mm is the minute.
Press Y + D Pad Right to fast forward that amount and press Y + D Pad Left to rewind that amount.

Tan Modifierbis = Repeat the last command.
quench = Water the flowers in your town.
savetp = Save a location.
restoretp = Teleport to the saved location.
midnight = Set time to midnight.
noon = Set time to noon.

This plugin only work on
1. Have a CFW enabled 3DS and install NTR 3.6
2. Download and extract the "ACNL-NTR-Cheats.zip" archive to the root of your SD Card.
4. Boot into NTR
5. Launch Animal Crossing New Leaf
6. Press Select to open up the Cheat Menu
7. Select the cheats that you want to be enabled
8. Press Select or the X to close the menu
9. Enjoy!
Read the "Multiplayer Usage" in the Usage tab if you'd like to use this with friends!

Sorry about the mishap. You have NTR 3.6 which is perfectly fine. I assume you are using the 4.0 beta 2 ACNL plugin, so I'm suggesting to try re-downloading the zip and reinstalling the plugin. Also check that the folder that is named after your game's region id is the correct region (for example, the folder saying '0004000000086300' is the region id for US games).
(I realized in my previous comments that I suggested getting an earlier version of the plugin, but when I looked myself, I wasn't able to find previous versions of the plugin to download. Sorry about that

If you use "Fill out catalog" there are multiple items titled as "???" and some display the same model.

Hm...it seems to be working for me, but I see where you're coming from.
This Real Time World Edit works very awkwardly (had to learn this myself) but you have to first input the item given, and while still on that keyboard (before hitting enter on the input) you need to simultaneously hold R+Down, then exit the keyboard screen, go into a building/ hit it with a shovel, and it should show.
At first it feels uncomfortable but once you try it multiple times it becomes more familiar.
