Bugs squashed:

• Should work on JP region consoles now, that was dumb of me
• Splash install now works even if you don't have splash.bin and splashbottom.bin in /luma/
• Switching to splash mode without splashes won't softlock
• Bug with preview being slightly off is fixed
• Pressing down at the bottom or up at the top now wraps around
• Pressing left or right now moves a page rather than to the end or beginning

Feature added:

• Install BGM only! This allows you to mix and match theme bodies and BGMs. To use, simply press "X" and it'll overwrite whatever the current theme BGM is.

Nice app! But for some reason I get this error when launching the cia

I have tried with Luma3DS v8.1.1(stable build) and bc1aa15(latest commit). Still doesn't work.
I also made sure there are "Themes" and "Splashes" folders on the root of my SD card, and /luma/splash.bin and /luma/splashbottom.bin.

Other theme apps like 3DSThemeManager and Themely(v1.3.1) work fine for me.

Got the same error. My N3DS is jpn, too.

I have the splash file(winrar) in the Splashes folder and in the app it says no splashes found

Splashes need to be in their own folders rather than zips. For example:

/Splashes/Nier-2B-Splash/splash.bin
/Splashes/Nier-2B-Splash/splashbottom.bin

Also, you need custom firmware for splashes - it won't work on OFW, sorry.

you must when you are in the app press a for install theme then start on the theme that you install

Nice update! I think there should be a restart command for applying the changes after installing a theme and when previewing, pressing any button to go back. (Instead of only pressing Y)

splashes are for cfw users
it just comes with a theme that you get on boot
