Hacking Region change from US wii to Japanese wii

I am having trouble with region change from US to Japanese verison wii. I have installed homebrew channel with apps and wad in the root of my SD card. However, I have also put anyregion changer 1.1b to my SD card, and nothing showed up on homebrew channel and wii.

Any suggestions on how to perform the language change?

P.S. I wasn't sure what verison my wii is, but there are no more updated in my wii, so I believe it's the latest verison.

You did remember to rename it boot.dol/boot.elf didn't you? Thats the most common mistake people make.

you need to put the .dol named as boot.dol, in a folder called whatever you want, inside the apps folder on the root of your SD, like:

SD:/apps/ARC/boot.dol

.....and you can't change the language, of your Wii, you need to change it completely to JAP region for the language to appear, go to the Wii Settings, and then Options, and the first screen on the upper right corner you'll see your FW version...!!
