Homebrew RedTemple (DS Entry)

When I create savedata (yes I know it's supposed to go black for a few moments) it goes black, and then stays like that for upwards of 4-5 minutes. Is that normal?

It last for around 5~10seconds only for me.
I think I created the save file on my CycloDS first. I'm now playing it with R4i gold + Wood, it's working fine and doesn't freeze on white or black screen.

I still haven't pass Level 4

I used a lot of potions but I always die before the end :/
The armor set doesn't help a lot (and I bought the last one), I didn't see any big improvement in resistance to attacks.

I tried the Laser gun instead of the sword, but... is that a toy gun? The shoot pass through enemies but doesn't harm them. Not very useful as a weapon

So I'm back with my first sword.
I will persevere and complete it one day!

You need to tap on the enemy with the stylus, selecting it and making it vulnerable to ranged weapons.

Not sure on some problems, As I only have M3 Simply using HBMenu software for testing.
The game does require ARGV support. I recommend just using HBMenu software. As for the hardware,
maybe I'll have to read into those.

No the screen shouldn't stay black for more than 10 seconds at max.
Perhaps deleting the file (if any was made and trying again will help).

As for guns yea you need to lock on first for both pistols and snipers.
Only problem you'll really have on level 3 is the Queen Bordrid, which once you go near causes all
the Bodrids to chase you until you kill the Queen.

I'm doing it right (except I don't take advantage of the invincibility fast enough on the bottom left).
Then I die on the right part of the level.

With the yellow set I can't take two spike damage without healing, I'll try the blue set.

Mine stalls and crashes when I select "Create" at the start of the game.
