Hardware Recovery mode is kind of bare on the Switch

Yes, it's kind of barebone on the Switch.

The command is easy. Turn off the Switch fully. Then press power and "- +" volume.
To return, just hold the power button down for 4 seconds.


I did however like that you can factory reset it without loosing your saves. This means they're on a different part of the system, just like androids custom recover (TWRP) where you can skip certain folders to get wiped. (this is an example, I know it's not running a complete android system even if they might share similarities)

And with this knowledge we'll find a way to use Recovery/Safe Mode to install a permahax on the Switch.

Give it time, the OS looks very good and stable (fingers crossed)...many more features will be added soon with new system updates.
