Rare or special roms for the older consoles

hi everyone ,

I stumbled upon special roms the past weeks that i did not know about like the leaked mother 1 prototype ( prequel to snes earthbound aka mother 2 ) that was being translated to english , but was never released in that language outside of japan.
Secondly i found a rom of Sonic 2 beta , stolen in china about 16 years ago etc.

Might be old news for some of you but i thought i share these with everyone else , anyone know of other special roms out there on the net ?

Also talking about mother series , i read Mother 3 was released on GBA but only in japanese , although it got great ratings on gamefaqs , i wondered what other great games never saw official releases in europe or the usa , no matter the system or how many you have to list , share them anyway

There are loads of BETAs, championship edition, etc ROMs out there.
Also alot of games that never made it to Europe or USA or both.

For example:
Super Mario RPG (SNES) never made it to PAL regions
Terranigma (SNES) never made it to the USA but was out in PAL regions
Sin & Punishment (N64) never made it outside of Japan before the Wii came along.
Final Fantasy III (SNES) never made it outside Japan before the DS.

yes the SNES had a good deal of japanese RPGs that never made it across the ocean , luckely most got translated pretty well.

Yeah, typo and AFAIK 1-6 didn't come out in Europe before the PS1 (or DS for 3).
