Hacking R4iGold.cn: Does it have any updates for the newer firmwares of DSi?

I tried installing the RetroGameFan updates on the card and it works on my sister's DSi which is 1.4.3u but it doesn't work on mine (1.4.4u). My uncle got it from R4igold.cn and the Kernal links are there don't work and I tried a kernal from youtube and it won't work either. Am I doing something wrong or will I have to buy a new Cart?

RGF's stuff is not firmware, and doesn't affect DSi/3DS compatibility. You need the actual DSi compatibility/firmware update file, which is going to come from the website printed on the cart if it exists, so check there to see if the update even exists first (then try to find a mirror maybe).
