Hacking r4i3ds angry bird(r4i advance)swap method?

i have a r4iyes card and applied an upd8 2 the firmware and now no ds recognizes there is a cartridge in it. ive read that you can do a flashcart swap to try 2 fix it. all i have is another ds lite with a r4sdhc card. what do i have 2 do to try to reflash it? please detail instructs as 2 what files to put on r4sdhc to get it to where it will apply an update that will fix my r4i3ds adv. thanx

1 - Download the update file for the broken cart, and put it on the fixed cart.

2 - Start up the fixed cart in the DS Lite, and start the update file.

3 - Take the fixed cart out of the DS Lite, and put the broken cart in.

4 - Now tell it to apply the update.
