Hacking r4i sdhc 1.4.1 and 3ds firmware

Hi i hope someone can help i purchased a 3ds card and i would like to know if i do the 2.0.0 upgrade will i be able to use it on a 1.4.2 dsi or will i have to update via 1.4.2c update i only own a 3ds but wanted to know.

it has the finding nemo icon so if i update to 2.0.0 for 3ds i will not be able to play on a dsi 1.4.2 then.

No, if you update it to v2.00 you will get the Chessmaster icon instead. You will then be able to play on both 3ds v2 and DSi v1.4.2.

By now, both the R4i 1.4.1 and the R4i 3DS can be upgraded to be used on the 1.4.2 and 2.0.0.2 firmwares respectively.

Bear in mind the actual firmware update files are DIFFERENT! Check carefully when you download (r4i-sdhc.com official site) to be sure you have the correct one.
