Bought an R4DS because at the time it ruled.
It's still a good card, just not possessing all the new fangled options perhaps.
But considering I only want it to play DS roms who cares.
And regarding the 2 gig limitation, dang, but you DO know how many games that is correct?
Yesterday I was scoping out iPods saw a classic that has a 160 gig drive allowing for 40 thousand songs
Funny that, considering at 46 I have never even encountered 10 thousand songs, no not even 5 thousand songs, so where I would find 40 thousand songs escapes me. Yes I know, they are just quantifying storage capacity. I think I was more interested in calling it hundreds of anime music videos or scores of dvd movies.
Point to the above, if you need more than 2 gigs, you need your head checked
And as 8 gigs is way too much for games, and won't really be enough for many movies, you likely have the wrong device if you are doing something other than playing games, and you don't need 8 gigs for games.
So while the other non R4DS cards have nifty add ons, I think an R4DS and maybe a couple of extra 2 gig micro sd cards (if you are desperate) is just as doable.
In the end, the only good choice is buy the item that is the cheapest where you found them.
They're all good cards, but the price is what counts.
I'd never base it on pointless added capacities.
