Hi i'm a newbie and i recieved my r4 today, the label says 3ds upgrade sdhc 2016. I downloaded the latest kernell from the isdhc webpage and i've been trying to make it work on my DS Lite but all i can get is 2 white screens. Should i get a lower firmware for the r4? would it ever work? I'm sorry if i'm asking something stupid, i'm new at this.

You need to format your µSD with the Panasonic SD Formatter, not Windows...
