Thank you for taking the time to compile this, much appreciated. I tested with Robocop 2 and runs and looks very nice and smooth.
I wonder though about the "true" mame 2003 core that people ( @OriginalHamster and @soniccomcisbr ) use (i still do not know which one is that, from the ones in page 1 of this topic, guys please pinpoint the post that has the correct mame 2003 core).
That one seems to run a multitude of games and would complement the iMame4all 1.0.2 that you have provided, quite nicely.
I ask cause i plan to fully playtest that once it is available, just like i did with the 1.0.2 mame 2000 core and give a numbered list of working roms (non fba, non cps1, non cps2, non neogeo) so that people would have an easy reference (post #73 in the previous page)
I can simularly help with this, once i have the core.
There's no true or full mame2003 yet. You can grab the build from templar701, page1 (it's a retroarch 1.0.0.2). All the builds support about the same games (read the tiny.mak to see the drivers).
A full build is too large(am I repeating myself?). We'd need a full mame games list without fba, cps, capcom, neogeo. Maybe include some slow/not working fba titles.
Your T-Z list is a good start... Adding/sorting the drivers in the source code will be extremely long though...
Mame2000 run a lot of games, but since it's an earlier mame, there are more bugs too. Gfx issues in Parodius for ex, and surely many others.
Regarding the retroarch versions, wow so many different requests, it's funny. I'll stay with a modded 1.2.2 for now, with simpler menus (1.0... was such a mess!), no osd message, custom cfg etc...
The only thing really bad for me is how inputs are handled. From 1.0.0.2 at least, untill 1.3(and latest commits?), switching between GC controller and wiimote/classic is problematic... the controls don't respond anymore. It would be good to always let the wiimote active in the main menu.
